The Guangzhou Eco-Environmental Industrial Park project, launched in July 2019 with a total investment of 850 million yuan and covering an area of 125.4 acres, focuses on biomass and biodiesel production. The park boasts a total design capacity of 2,040 tons per day, utilizing waste oil, catering waste, kitchen waste, manure, and animal solid waste. In May 2021, biodiesel production officially commenced as a key output of the project.

The park has established an integrated industrial chain system that encompasses waste oil collection and transportation, production, and sales. By using waste oil, such as UCO and crude oil from animal solid waste treatment, as raw materials and employing advanced bio-enzyme technology, the park can deeply process crude oil into biodiesel and its by-products. The project effectively solves the problem of waste oil recycling upstream and prevents gutter oil from re-entering the food supply chain, while providing renewable resources for downstream use. This has a positive impact on the economy, environment, and society. Additionally, the project secures the source of waste oil for biodiesel production through the franchising of food waste, including waste oil, in relevant areas of Guangzhou.
